About the role

Byrne Trailers is seeking experienced and motivated Section Leaders to join our dynamic manufacturing team. As a Section Leader, you will play a vital role in managing and overseeing a team of production workers, ensuring the efficient and high-quality manufacturing of our industry-leading trailers. This full-time position is an excellent opportunity to take the next step in your career within the manufacturing industry.

What you’ll be doing

•  Supervise and coordinate day-to-day operations within your section to meet daily and weekly production targets
• Monitor product quality and provide feedback and guidance to improve processes and outputs
• Ensure all safety protocols and procedures are followed by the team
• Assist with the training and development of team members, helping them develop new skills
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and communicate recommendations to management
• Liaise with other departments to ensure the smooth flow of operations
• Maintain accurate records and documentation as required
• Conduct tool box talks, safety checks, and performance reviews
• Provide hands-on leadership, coaching, and support to team members

• Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong technical knowledge and understanding of manufacturing processes and procedures
• A proactive attitude and excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities to lead and motivate teams
• Commitment to safety and compliance in the workplace
• Proficiency in using relevant manufacturing software and equipment
